Lei Feng spirit is a banner, always shining immortal brilliance and it is Lei Feng's immortal spiritual power that inspires generations of hot-blooded teenagers to march forward and become a moral model.
In March 2023, the Junior High School Division carried out a series of activities regarding the moral education theme of ‘Learning from Lei Feng, we are in action’, so that students could deeply understand the connotation of Lei Feng spirit in the activities and spread the spirit of Lei Feng with practical actions.
First and foremost, at the beginning of March, our school carried forward the spirit of Lei Feng through publicity positions such as the campus screen, speech under the national flag and theme class meetings, calling on everyone to be the inheritor of the spirit of Lei Feng in the new era.
In addition, in order to vigorously promote the spirit of the times, cultivate the correct view of honor and disgrace and a good atmosphere of willing to contribute, striving to be a pioneer, and continuously enriching the connotation of learning from Lei Feng in the new era, the eighth grade conducted the theme speech contest with the title of ‘Learn from Lei Feng, and Be a Moral Person’.
Furthermore, teacher Yu Wangqin from the Youth League Committee of our school led the ninth grade League members to Sifang Community and Residential Committee to carry out ‘Lei Feng Spirit’ community service activities. Specifically, the members helped the community clean the road and the community bulletin board, which helped the residents establish the awareness of ‘willing to help and serve others’.
Last but not the least, the seventh grade volunteers in our school proceeded voluntary activities to purify the campus orderly under the organization of the instructors. They practiced the voluntary service concept of ‘learning from Lei Feng, contributing to others and improving themselves’ with practical actions.
In conclusion, the spirit of Lei Feng is the eternal coordinate of the times. Moreover, the implementation of the learn-from-Lei Feng activities showcased students' good spirit of dedication, who understood that learning from Lei Feng and being willing to give are not a day's work. Therefore, they were determined to take the initiative to assume social responsibility, and become screws in society that never rust.
